Using the Unlock Case Feature
There are instances after a check-in but before the surgery where a rep or facility needs to alter what is checked in. The case unlocking feature allows for a case that is fully checked in to be placed back into a fully editable state.
Here’s how it works:
- You will need to log into the specific case that needs to be unlocked.
- Once in the case, click on the red "Unlock Case" icon located above the tray names .
- This will make the case revert to "Acknowledged" status and make the trays editable (yellow) again for the rep.
Note: Supervisor or Admin level account is required to edit the schedule within Settrax.
Since altering a case with already checked in sets would alter the accuracy of tray labels, it’s important that you make sure to reprint and update the labels on the trays. Work with your vendor to make sure the labels are correct or have them do this part on their own. Communication here is key! Communicate with your facility team members on the changes you have made so that confusion does not occur.
